Asia Travel Destination

For many Australian travelers, Asian countries still remains popular as favorite travel destination. The most visited countries including Thailand and Vietnam which increase to 21% in 2006. There are more than 28,000 Australian visiting Thailand and 11,000 travel to Vietnam during 2006, according to the report from The Australian Bureau. Australian visitors preferred the holiday in Phuket and other destination in Thailand including Kao Lak, Koh Lanta, Krabi, Koh Chang and Kanchanaburi.

The numbers of travelers to Asian still increase despite the travel warning about the terrorist attack issued by the government. The tourist to Indonesia especially Bali rose up to 15.60%, followed by Hong Kong and China 13.00% and 10.30%.

The most common concern about travel to Asia is the air fare which is still competitive comparing to other travel destination.
